Derek H. Geer has "cut his teeth" in high tech research companies dealing with multi-million dollar projects and production lines and their cutting-edge failure modes and idiosyncrasies. He has been recognized and honored at such places as Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Phogenix and others for his investigative and analysis skills. He was one of the fastest rising R & D managers at the


San Diego Division of Hewlett-Packard creating inovative methods for getting to needed answers rapidly and consistently. Mr. Geer was a member of three different break-through design teams, has appeared on "Good Morning America" demonstrating the first commercially available radar for cars (1992).

In addition to forensic investigations he has written patents in two different systems of digital printing calibration for Kodak, he pioneered new work in digital three dimensional imaging, and has worked on everything from space satelites to failure analysis of high energy electrical equipment failure.

Mr. Geer is a Licensed Consulting Engineer and brings a wealth of technical skill and acumen to a field still changing in it's precepts and guidelines and can act as expert witness in electrical power equipment failures, electrically caused fires, forensic imaging and computer modeling of electronic failures.
